Rebeccas original work has been produced at Dixon Place, P.S. 122, Judson Church, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Dance Theatre workshop, and Joyce Soho. Her first book, Both Sides of Crazy, is a memoir about negotiating the chaos of the mind by returning to the body.

Other work includes Here, Somewhere (2017), Elbows off the Table (2015), and her third one woman show, Across Time(2012). Her essay, Authentic Movement, and its Application to Contemporary Performance Training, was published in the anthology Movement for Actors II (Allworth Press). 

Rebecca’s interests lie in the intersection between mindfulness and performance.  She has been practicing Authentic Movement since 1982, and uses it as an anchor for all of her creative work and teaching.  Her workshops include The Intuitive Body: Authentic Movement and Creative Process, Viewpoints and Devising, Creating Character and Writing from the Body.

 Rebecca is the founder of The Movement Educator’s Research Group (MERGE), a collaborative research group for movement educators across the country. She has taught Movement, Acting, Physical Theater and Mindfulness at Ensemble Studio Theater, Caymichael Patten Studio, The School for Film and Television, New York Film Academy, Hampshire College and Rutgers University. She is currently a faculty member at Ohio University’s School of Theatre, Director of Education for Tantrum Theatre and a freelance creative consultant.
